Purpose of this role


The Cyber Security Lead establishes, develops, implements, and monitors a comprehensive information security management system and performs IT risk management. The Cyber Security Lead is involved in all aspects of information and cyber security at Frontiers and closely collaborates with relevant teams active in information technology as well as data protection. The role includes a strong focus on hands-on security activities to monitor Frontiers’ critical IT infrastructure for data processing and covers the policies and documentation of Frontiers’ data protection framework as well.

We are currently looking for a Cyber Security Lead to join our technology department in Lausanne. Mission:



  • Maintain and improve Frontiers’ global security strategy

  • Perform security risk assessment, threat modelling, and handle practical aspects of information security topics (includes scans, reviews, tests, monitoring, assisting developers to apply secure programming methods)

  • Drive documentation needs for the security topic within the organization (includes strategic security policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards)

  • Lead technical working groups defining and implementing common security guidelines

  • Enhance processes to manage security issues and incidents

  • Management and handling of security related incidents (all levels)

  • Organize and teach security awareness to technical and non-technical employee groups

  • Assist and advise respective stakeholders on aspects of operational and strategic security issues


Profile:



  • Degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or equivalent;

  • Demonstrated track record as security professional with 3-5 years of experience in a similar position

  • Excellent knowledge of computer networking as well as cloud and web based technologies (in the context of security)

  • Experience in writing security related documentation;

  • Industry recognized security qualifications such as CISM, CISSP, COBIT or OSCP are a big plus.

  • Knowledge and experience of security standards (such as ISO 27001/2 or NIST and OWASP TOP 10) in various contexts (e.g. application operation, software development) and asset.

  • Very good command of English (written and spoken)


Environment:


The working language in our environment is English. We are working for customers around the world and with suppliers in different countries and time zones.
