For our Automotive Products Group – Business Unit Actuation Systems (BU AS) based in Murten, we are looking for a Senior NVH Acoustics Engineer, who will support the engineering, production and quality teams as a subject matter expert to optimize the NVH behavior of our products.

Responsibilities



  • Model and investigate complex acoustics/vibration situations and conduct the necessary experiments in laboratory or production environments

  • Apply advanced data analytics tools to understand NVH correlations and identify root causes

  • Development of analytic tools & dynamics simulation tools

  • Methods and tools maintenance & change management

  • NVH-quality assessment of our actuators production

  • Follow up the company’s process and related documentation of development until product end of life

  • Represent Engineering in front of customer for development and product care purpose

  • Reporting - writing or presenting regular progress reports for project managers and clients

  • Tools-design and SW-development for automation of NVH-correlation and criteria checks


Requirements



  • Masters in Mechanical Engineering

  • 6 – 10 years of experience in data analysis & NVH

  • Similar experience in the automotive or aircraft or power plants sector

  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, physics, NVH testing as well as measurement processes

  • In depth knowledge of data-processing techniques and software programming (Matlab and Python)

  • Strong customer/supplier relationship management skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills & ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Fluency in French or German is an advantage
