Job Description


The role requires and highly experienced subject matter expert and project Lead, who supports the Stakeholder (STK)  Engagement ELOT sub-team, the amyloid ELOT sub-team and the early diagnostic ELOT sub-team in the coordination and execution of key strategic topics:



  • Execute the preparation of the Biogen Brain Trust, which is a multi-disciplinary continuous advisory board that advices Biogen Europe, Canada and Partner Market (ECP) region with strong expertise about Biogen initiatives and strategic planning. This role will support with scientific content creation, internal processes submission, interface with compliance function and preparation of related outcomes such as white papers.


  • Execute the activities related to the PAVE (Project Alzheimer Value Europe) consortium, funded by Biogen and Roche, created to increase collaboration and understanding among key stakeholders in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) ecosystem with the aim of enhancing value assessment of AD therapies and diagnostics. Main objectives of PAVE are: 1) Educating policymakers, payers, and other Alzheimer’s disease stakeholders in European countries on the current challenges related to assessing value in Alzheimer’s disease; 2) Working together with European payers and policymakers to develop solutions related to the value assessment of, and funding/financing for future Alzheimer’s disease therapies and diagnostics. 

    This role will support with scientific content creation, internal processes submission, interface with compliance function and preparation of related outcomes such as white papers.


  • ECP execution of activities related to diagnostic pathways before Alzheimer’s disease first commercial launch


  • Support the team and affiliates with AD scientific expertise in key processes such as MRP, diagnostic patient journey incl. key pain points and in ensuring launch readiness across all affiliates.


  • Support the cross-functional teams in establishing medical value and creating awareness on the need of early diagnosis and treatment



 


Brain Trust (BT):


·          Responsible for co-creating pre-read materials and event toolkit for the BT in collaboration with cross-functional team in a continuous fashion


·          Leads the creation and deployment of white papers in collaboration with the line manager, the experts, and the cross-functional team


·          Develops and drives optimal engagement experience through Spotme platform in collaboration with IT lead


·          Reviews created materials and pre readings with compliance and legal for PRC


·          Supports affiliates with the creation of a country specific BT


·          Tracks the deployment process and timelines of planning of the BBT


·          Leads best practice sharing of BT learning to advice affiliate strategy and execution against AD ecosystem and  health care system unmet need


·          Review of BT content on Aduhome


·          Liaise with compliance on BT scope and outcomes


·          Support potential roll out of BT to affiliates


 


PAVE


·          Contributes to PAVE scientific content creation such as:


1.        writing of manuscripts


2.        white papers


3.        revision of PAVE content for social media such as PAVE LinkedIn and PAVE website  


·          Publication and activities tracing in close collaboration with global function to guarantee compliant review process strategic fit


·          Attend bi-weekly PAVE core team meeting and bi-quarterly Expert external meeting to guarantee scientific support, activities execution and


·          Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders and pharma counterpart to guarantee a strong interaction and efficient and complaint working relationship to ensure excellence in execution of key programs


·          Review of PAVE content


·          Liaise with compliance on PAVE outcomes, projects and activities


 


AD amyloid Project Coordinator with affiliates


·          Act as the Allheimer's Disease project coordinator of amyloid activities execution for ECP  markets


·          Scientific and organizational support for the amyloid ELOT subteam such as roll out of playbooks or organization of deep dive discussions with affiliates


·          Scientific and organizational support to affiliates


·          Liaise with STK Engagement Head to coordinate the work of this subteam with the  diagnostic collaboration activities, global activities and other diagnostic partners for ECP


·          Revision / adaptation of the global amyloid created material for ECP such as


1.        Amyloid educational narrative


2.        Website creation


3.        PRC review process


4.        Educational material roll out with affiliates


 


Stakeholders Engagement  


·          Scientific and organizational support for the Stakeholder ELOT subteam such as:


1.        Meeting agenda preparation Amyloid educational narrative


2.        Meeting minutes


3.        Management of the cross-functional shared material and data storage


 


Early diagnosis and BBB


Scientific and strategic support for the early diagnosis subteam and affiliates on ECP diagnostic patient journey and mapping of the diagnostic ECP ecosystem and health care readiness


 


Qualifications



  • Proven experience in similar roles


  • Ability to lead cross-functionally in a matrix model


  • International work experience


  • Postdoctoral experience in academic setting-preferred with Biologics;  must have gained experience in Alzheimer's disease


  • Confident and influential communication skills


  • Proven track record of scientific publication in the field


  • Capable of setting priorities and remaining focused in situations with high pressure and workload


  • Strong cross functional experience and ability to collaborate across functions and levels


  • Strong team-worker


  • Fluent in English, other langaugues a plus
