Lead QA Engineer

At Crowdhouse we are building a distributed and cloud based real estate investment platform that connects sellers of investment properties with buyers of investment properties. Crowdhouse was born from a vision proposed in 2015 to make the real estate market more efficient, transparent and accessible for everyone.

What you will do 

Crowdhouse is growing and we are looking to hire aLead QA Engineer to help build and maintain the highest quality transaction platform in real estate. 

• Improve existing QA processes, tools and practices. Introduce new ones if you deem it necessary. 


• Evolve and grow the existing automated testing framework


• Define and own the processes for end-to-end and integration testing


• Improve test reporting and standards and transparency on test results & build status 


• Work with our product teams to expand and enrich our integrated automated tests as part of our CI/CD pipeline


• Mentor QA Engineers and product teams on best practises of testing


• Work with product owners, developers and uxers to establish healthy quality assurance processes and practices in the teams


• Establish the foundation for future QA team growth

What we would like to see from you 

• Software Engineering / Computer Science background preferred


• Deep understanding of testing principles, QA methodologies


• Experience with test-automation using JavaScript is a big plus 


• Strong experience in automation testing of Web-based applications, Web-services and APIs and/or cloud-based platforms


• Strong experience with writing test automation scripts from scratch


• Experience in leading automation testing & nurturing a quality mindset  in an agile environment


• Some leadership experience & willingness to lead other QA Engineers
