In view of our continued global growth we need to assure that our processes stay state of the art. For this reason we are looking for further support and recruiting our new Procurement Manager

in Meyrin/Geneva.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement your main missions are as follows:

• Lead and manage DIRECT & INDIRECT categories


• Be the Procurement referent for a list of determined Departments


• Source and manage mainly (terms & conditions) raw materials, packagings, consumables and services (sub-contracting of finished dosage forms included) from a business perspective


• Actively pursue Cost Reduction opportunities on all business opportunities


• Lead and contribute to procurement projects and initiatives


• Produce, review and implement agreements and various contracts with suppliers (Discount Agreements, Supply Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Notice of Commission)


• Ensure double sourcing for our critical suppliers as well as their deployment in routine (Project Leader)


• Handle external CMO management on business aspects (terms and conditions)


• Meet suppliers on a regular base


• Ensure regular exchange & follow-ups with suppliers on strategic/important topics, e.g. prices, contracts, commercial terms, services, market evolution


• Regularly communicates about initiatives and changes in the supplier relationships


• Procurement Specialist back-up


• Negotiate price and improve savings through contracts and agreements


• Provide regularly feedback to the Head of Procurement  on general or particular supply issues or situation


• Follow-up direct suppliers’ performance with the Procurement Specialist


• Support internal clients in case of litigation with suppliers

Your qualifications and experience

• Master of Science in Supply Chain or Business Administration with specific education in Procurement


• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement in Pharma (preferred) , Chemical, Food or any highly regulated environment/industry


• Fluent in French and English (written and verbally)


• Experience in project management


• Experience in leading negotiations with suppliers in a challenging environment


• Experience with a leading ERP systems like Sage X3 and / or SAP


• Good understanding of GMP/GDP and other relevant regulations
