About the Role


Do you have a scientific background in pharmaceutical research with affinity for data analysis and like writing about it? Are you passionate about explaining complex science in simple terms? Are you enthusiastic about finding the optimal path to analyze experimental results using modern software? Are you curious about how innovative software dramatically increases the productivity of scientists?


We want you to understand the experimental processes and resulting data analysis needs of scientists in biopharma R&D and describe how these are being addressed by Genedata Screener®. We want you to put yourself in their shoes and support them with comprehensive documentation, training materials, and answers to specific analysis problems. To this end, you will work closely with our development, scientific and marketing teams, and some of our customer’s scientists.


Your Responsibilities



  • Develop, produce, and maintain electronic end-user documentation for data analysis enterprise software

  • Document new scientific workflows and related software functionalities

  • Identify needs for new materials to support scientists’ productivity, research and create these

  • Write technical / administration documentation and related documents

  • Create educational and training materials for internal and external use

  • Keep up to date on our software and the science it supports, working closely with software development and scientific account management teams


Skills & Experience



  • Minimum 5 years of laboratory work experience in pharmaceutical industry with hands-on experience in bioassay / screening technologies and data analysis

  • Proficiency in English with excellent writing skills

  • Ability to explain complex topics in a correct and concise manner

  • Strong initiative and dedication to quality of work with a hands-on mentality

  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills


Ideally: 



  • University degree in a life science or bioinformatics discipline

  • Experience in large molecule research or high-content imaging
