Description


We are looking for a Maintenance Specialist to oversee all building maintenance activities relating to our Lausanne office. You will be responsible for repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities and ensure that facilities are safe and well functioning.


A great maintenance specialist will be able to get their hands dirty to address first-level maintenance needs, and identify outsourcing solutions for additional work. They will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as basic reporting on repair costs.


The goal is to ensure our work space is safe and problem-free so that employees can work under the best conditions.


Responsibilities



  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation

  • Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues

  • Plan and execute (or oversee) all repair and installation activities

  • Liaise with the Office Management, Concierge and the Office Architect

  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary

  • Monitor expenses for maintenance

  • Handle Daily Office wear and tear

  • Supervise relationships with contractors and service providers

  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities

  • Supporting all Office Management needs, such as answering OM emails, event set-up, office layout changes

  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with


Requirements



  • Proven experience in facilities or related position

  • Well-versed in facilities management best practices

  • Excellent English and French written and spoken

  • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment

  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity

  • Quick on their feet handyman
