Description


Reporting to the Head of ONE Order program, the Engagement Manager, is responsible to coordinate ONE Order engagement activities across the industry.

Working closely with airlines and major industry IT systems providers, he/she is building the industry awareness toward modernization envisioned by ONE Order.


Responsibilities



  • Manage engagement activities and awareness with major industry stakeholders (airlines, IT vendors , Travel Agents, GHs) to drive ONE Order initiative

  • Ensure delivery of specific industry campaigns to validate adoption and benefits of new standard in collaboration with IATA regional offices (act as the main point of contact)

  • Ensure delivery of regional ONE order workshop and airlines alignment sessions

  • Process ONE Order airlines certification application to monitor the capability report of the industry on ONE Order readiness

  • Update other IATA divisions and industry working groups about progress of ONE Order program

  • Design, implement and update the ONE Order communications in collaboration with NDC team

  • Support program management activities and consistent reporting across various industry committees


Qualifications and Skills



  • University Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum 7 years in air transport industry with experience of airlines systems environment and a good understanding about IATA New Distribution Capability (NDC) initiative. Understanding of the ONE Order initiative is preferred but not mandatory.

  • An Airline background is a plus

  • Ready to travel worldwide

  • Proven ability to develop concise articulated reports and to present at different management level within organizations (externally or internally)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good capability to work consistently with multiple stakeholders

  • Positive attitude, willingness to drive industry transformation and ability to work internationally across various cultures

  • Fluency in English, a working knowledge of other languages desirable.
