Chief Product Officer

As CPO, you will shape all aspects of both the current and future ricardo.ch products. You will start by crafting our product roadmap, which translates abstract strategy into actual features. Working closely with our engineers, you and your team of a dozen product managers and designers will lead product development in an agile, pragmatic environment with frequent deployments. You will also interface with many other stakeholders, from customer care to marketing to category management. You will listen, consider different points of view and make the tough calls no one else wants to make - because in the end much of our success will rest on your shoulders. Together with your colleagues in the Management team, you will contribute to creating a culture of empowerment and ambition across the whole company.
You have extensive leadership experience and understand that your success relies on your ability to inspire others. You set the tone for how your team works: you nurture a culture of experimentation and learning, and you value agility and reliability in equal measure. You want team members who enjoy both what they do and why they do it, and you provide a constructive work environment that allows product managers and designers to flourish. You deeply appreciate the requirements of our users and our business and lead your team to value the fulfilment of these needs above all else.
We value enthusiasm, reliability, intelligence, attention to detail and a “get-sh*t-done” attitude. And we expect you to have an insatiable drive to make things better. You have a technical Masters degree and excellent command of English, with German or French being a clear plus. And you’re prepared to learn snippets of Polish, Turkish, and even South Tyrolean (yes, that’s a thing) during and after work hours thanks to the 26 different nationalities represented in our team. Our modern office is located in Zug, a short train ride away from Zurich or Lucerne.
