Technology & Implementation Analyst


The Technology & Implementation Analyst’s mission will consist of managing, developing and maintaining our business tools as well as conducting 1st and 2nd level support for all MCI offices over the world. The Technology & Implementation Analyst is in contact with project management, back office teams and super-users to give advice on how to optimise the use of our event management software(s). You are the link between the operational and development team, solving issues in a timely matter, offering the best solutions for clients, operational teams as well as other advance users. 
This person will have to understand the clients’ needs and advice on the most efficient way to find appropriate solutions.


Your main responsibilities will include:



  • Implement on-line registration

  • Set up of events, and testing phases before launching them in production

  • Layout customization on events registration webs site

  • On-site logistic and support

  • User and set up support to all other MCI offices

  • Create/update of documentation, user’s manual, communication and reports

  • Deal with a varied set of projects within an international environment

  • Improvements, test and report

  • Log and follow up all bugs found when using the software

  • Find workarounds when bugs cannot be solved right away

  • Input on Specification/Improvement writing and support

  • Staff training


Your profile

  • Competencies in Event Management and Tourism 

  • Sensitivity to software use 

  • Eager to learn

  • Service-oriented

  • Strong methodology and communication skills

  • Curious and up to date with the technological latest trends 

  • Autonomous, enjoy teamwork, have a natural feeling for communication, able to integrate into a young and dynamic group and willing to add a contribution

  • Rigorous and structured, cheerful and flexible nature 

  • Manage the stress involved in running several projects simultaneously

  • Ability to travel depending on congress agenda

  • Fluency in both French and English (written & spoken)

  • Strong computer skills such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and specific industry software such as event management (Cvent, Etouches, B-Com), hotel management, GDS (Global distribution systems), OTA (Online Travel Agents) etc..

  • Knowledge in HTML, CSS and or JavaScript is considered as a plus

  • Database management knowledge is considered as a plus

  • Some experience within relevant industry experience would be a plus in order to understand the way registration software has been built up.
