In-house Consultant SAP SD

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Be the Subject Matter Expert in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)


• Coordinate feasibility studies


• Understand business processes and business requirements and create technical specifications for implementation


• Contribute to solution design and harmonization initiatives


• Active contribution to problem management and challenging incidents or change requests on the strategic SAP platforms that could not be resolved by the support team


• Provide or assist with training of Super Users


• Maintain user and system documentation and incorporate changes as needed / appropriate


• Lead SAP SD projects


• Prepare Test Cases and Test Scripts for the Delivery and Support team and also carry out Integration testing as part of project delivery


• Keep up to date with industry-wide trends and best practices (both process and technology)

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in technical or business studies or equivalent experience


• Minimum of 5+ years of working experience with SAP SD in an international corporation or internationally managed service or consulting provider


• Experience from the manufacturing industry is a plus


• Experience from two or more successful SAP roll-outs


• Internal consulting skills and facilitation skills, good team player


• Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly and adaptable to changes in timelines and sequences


• Ability to work off hours when required and flexible


• Position is based in Winterthur, Switzerland. Travel requirements: 20 - 30%


• Fluency in English. German language would be an advantage.
