RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1 Contributes to and explains regional talent development strategies and business/functional talent development strategies and plans
2 Diagnoses learning needs, prioritizes and designs talent development solutions that provide the greatest impact to identified needs and business objectives
3 Measures the impact of learning investments utilizing contemporary systems and processes; recommends, communicates and implements continuous improvement tactics
4 Stays abreast of and influences organization around the use of innovative talent development strategies that provide competitive advantage to the attraction, development and retention of key talent
5 Builds and manages talent development processes that complement workforce and succession plans; optimizes company’s use of the talent modules in Workday
6 Executes with excellence instructional design and delivery (including facilitation) of talent development solutions that address business needs leveraging strong communication and learning methodologies
7 Actively communicates and markets talent development programs to key stakeholders including, but not limited to, HRBPs and leaders, to build stakeholder engagement and understanding of objectives
8 Manages talent development and learning program analytics in partnership with HR operations leveraging existing systems while recommending new ways of improving learning management efficiencies through process/policy improvement and enabling technologies
9 Consults with HRBPs and business leaders on the best ways to clarify talent development needs and address through best practice solutions; partners effectively to arrive at solutions
10 Manages vendors/partners who are responsible for delivering talent development programs across the region; manages a regional network of external talent development partners

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of business is required
• Master’s degree preferred in a human resources or business related field
Experience
• Minimum 10 years in talent management or talent development
• Experience in multiple learning and development organization models (e.g. insourced, outsourced, online)
• Previous experience using a learning management system (e.g. Plateau)
• At least 5 years with global learning/development responsibilities
• Proven experience in instructional design and facilitation/delivery
• Proven experience creating marketing and communication strategies, plans and materials associated with learning/talent development investments
• Experience and related certifications in development programs and talent assessment tools (e.g. Situational Leadership, Insights, Korn Ferry Leadership architect, 360° feedback)
Competencies
• Excellent knowledge of adult learning practices and leading-edge talent development programs
• Global and regional agility; able to partner effectively with people at multiple levels in a company and across multiple geographies/time zones
• Outstanding communication (English and German required) and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent facilitator and presenter (English and German required)
• Strong written and instructional designer skills; marketing competence
• Familiarity with core talent and human resources practices, especially workforce and succession planning
• Strong big-picture thinking and organization skills to link talent development strategies at the business/functional/regional level to the global level
• SME/Leadership presence with a high degree of credibility; self-aware
