Pix4D’s core technology - Photogrammetry, Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms- are one of the major assets of Pix4D. With an appropriate API they form together with other software modules the platform which is the base of our own software solutions. These solutions are integrated into 3rd party applications via OEM relationships.

We are looking for an experienced Director to manage, control and oversee the Pix4D platform development. Reporting to the CEO, you will be in close contact with the product teams and managers at Pix4D and with partner companies, to understand their needs and ensure the test driven, well documented and reusable development of software modules.

The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to steer the teams to the most profitable direction while also implementing corporate Pix4D vision, mission and long term goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Grow Pix4D’s platform (algorithms, software modules on server, desktop, cloud and mobile platforms) with focus on usability, quality, testing and efficiency


• Develop and execute the company’s platform strategy and actively contribute to Pix4D’s global strategy


• Manage an OPEX budget to develop the platform in Pix4D’s headquarter and subsidiaries


• Communicate and maintain trust relationships with 3rd party business partners and with Pix4D’s vertical product development

Requirements

• Strong knowledge on software development best practices, API development and maintenance


• Experience in managing teams at different locations


• Strong interest in Pix4D’s technology and mapping/machine learning applications


• Excellent organisational and leadership skills


• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills


• Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
