JOB DESCRIPTION & SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The successful candidate can be based at any of our locations in Europe, Ireland or the UK.
The role involves working in many different cultures and across multiple pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. As such it provides a unique opportunity to learn new skills and build on your already impressive experience.

Reporting to the regional leader for the Asset & Reliability Management CoE, you will drive asset reliability management improvement at sites in Vaccine, Sterile, Pharmaceutical, and External Manufacturing Operations within the EMEA/AP region.

You will be responsible for working with sites to improve asset performance and manage risk. This will involve deployment and sustainment of the use of specific tools and techniques, development of reliability plans or responding to specific asset issues. A key aim is to deliver value to operations by building site capabilities and achieving appropriate focus on asset reliability as a whole, addressing the full asset lifecycle.

You must be thoroughly familiar with the challenges the sites are facing, our objectives and those of individual Business Units. You must understand how asset reliability impacts sites’ abilities to achieve World Class Supply.

You must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence colleagues and stakeholders at all levels in multiple locations and across different cultures. Able and willing to take a hands-on approach, you must also demonstrate an ability to collaborate with other leaders internally and externally.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Supports asset reliability activities across the region at both internal and external manufacturing sites.

  • Works with sites to develop and execute reliability plans

  • Deploys and sustains asset management methodologies and strategies to ensure a best in class Reliability approach is embedded in the sites and across the region.

  • Trains, coaches and develops internal and external staff on asset related tools and techniques

  • Analyses data to detect trends and recommend actions

  • Develops business processes

  • Collaborates with other divisional stakeholders to align activities and maximize pro


Qualifications

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE - KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS



  • BS Degree or equivalent in Engineering required, MS Degree in Engineering desirable.

  • Certification in Asset Management and/or Reliability e.g. CRE/CMRP highly desirable

  • 5-10 years of engineering process and reliability experience

  • 5 years of experience in sterile and pharmaceutical manufacturing, clean room environment desired.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green belt desirable



Core Competences:


Technical:



  • Strong working knowledge of cGMP, Sterile Manufacturing, Formulation & Filling, and Packaging.

  • Skilled in the use of asset reliability improvement methods and tools eg risk assessments, FMEA, downtime tracking, etc

  • MPS/Lean Six Sigma Methodology capabilities desired

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards for engineering and EHS (Environment, Health and Safety)


General:



  • Excellent presentation, facilitation and assessment skills

  • Additional foreign language skills desirable

  • Report, standards, policy writing skills required

  • SAP knowledge and experience preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job related computer applications required
