Software Development Support Lead

Our Airborne Software Development Department has an immediate opening for a Software Development Support Lead.

Your place of work:Stans, Schweiz

What you do:

• Oversee support functions (subcontracting, quality assurance, configuration management, etc) for Pilatus airborne software development team


• Manage outsourced software development projects, including ensuring DO178 compliance of supplier-produced software


• Occasional travel auditing suppliers (<10%)


• Contribute to the team's continuous improvement / internal management

What you bring:

• University degree or equivalent in software or aeronautical engineering


• Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace within a development, integration and certification environment, including experience managing airborne software development projects


• Deep understanding of DO178 and supporting/associated standards (i.e. DO248, DO254, ARP4761, etc).


• Self-motivating, organized, demonstrated good judgement for decision making and priority setting


• Very good written and spoken English is essential, knowledge of German advantageous
