Electronics Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join the NKT Photonics site in Regensdorf, Switzerland. NKT Photonics is the
leading supplier of high performance fiber lasers and photonic crystal fibers. Our facility in Switzerland
develop and produce short-pulse lasers for a wide range of applications.

growing company, we are looking for a motivated and talented Electronics technician whose contribution
and commitment will have an immediate impact in our production line.
Job Summary
You will be part of our electronics manufacturing team and work in close collaboration and interaction with
Manufacturing Engineering. The work is conducted in an ESD sensitive area and requires manual finesse,
patience, and the ability to work under time pressure.
The suitable candidate’s main tasks will consist of the autonomous assembly and work documentation of
electronics systems. In addition, the candidate is expected to perform:

• Complete assembly and creation of production documentation for electronic systems and
  subsystems


• Testing and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies


• Detailed production recording


• Participate in the quality management efforts

Qualifications

• Manual work experience with high-tech components and equipment


• Diploma of electronics technician or equivalent.


• Industrial experience in electronics or microelectronics


• Familiar with a wide range of test and measurement techniques including basic electrical
  measurements


• Experience in ESD rules and regulations is a plus


• Experience in Quality Management systems is a plus


• Knowledge and experience with the MS Office suite and preferably Labview (interaction)


• Self-motivated team-player


• Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high quality products


• English is required
