What you will doThe Marketing Specialist is an important global support role in Johnson Controls’ global marketing function. The role will report to the VP, Marketing and support a centralized, global marketing team in executing Johnson Controls brand, marketing technology and customer experience goals.
How you will do itAs a Marketing Specialist in this position the responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:• Manage the BU’s Marketing and Brand inquiries from around the world. • Develop the structure, administer and update the global Marketing repositories • Conduct desk research and document findings • Manage the team budget and related support processes• Facilitate the monthly global Marketing News update• Support the marketing team in daily priorities that keep the department functioning and facilitate the duties of the marketing managers.• Create and modify documents and creative files including presentations, reports, spreadsheets, Photoshop editing, html, etc.• Coordinate global conference calls aligned with time zone on behalf of the VP, Marketing.• Act as a back-up for Executive Assistants, including coordinating of complex travel arrangements for local and global meetings/conferences, calendar and expense management. What we look for• Great passion for branding, creativity, determination to achieve the objective, flexibility, enthusiasm, initiative, ability to problem solve and teamwork.• Experience in a similar role within an international environment. Experience or a degree in Marketing and Communications would be preferred. • Excellent written English is essential to this position• Strong writing, editing and researching skills.• High level knowledge of MS Office. • Understanding of any of teh following tools is desirable: SharePoint, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, SAP, SEO, Google Adwords and or Analytics. • High level of customer service ability.• Attention to detail.• Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
