AM TEC Financial Manager

Your role:


Management oversight for the financial controlling activities of the department including 3-year strategic plan, direct expenses, headcount and technology allocations, month end close, forecast and OP variance analysis, identifying and implementing process and reporting improvements within the team.


Provide targeted financial support for business case reviews, deep dives into the technology allocations to the Asset Management business and provide financial insights related to specific tailored requests from the business.


Responsible for challenging and reviewing the IT Solution Change the bank project and portfolio cost estimates, savings opportunities and central charges to the front office division.


Challenge the input into the segment’s work force plan to ensure alignment between resource planning and financials.


Ensure that cyclical and ad hoc BoM & AMIT management requests such as scenario analyses, benchmark surveys, etc. are handled in a timely and proactive manner.


Actively manage and support COO mandated centralization processes (e.g. MPR calculations, IGCS quarterly reviews, benefit attestation reviews, etc).


Effectively lead, coach and mentor existing team members and create an environment that fosters high performance and cross team collaboration.


Act as the deputy for the AM TEC Business Operating Manager.


Build sustainable and trustful relationships with key partners within the Group Technology, the Central COO team and TEC CFO.

You’ll be working in the AM TEC business management team and providing line management support to a team of 4 FTE. We are a diverse global team of 20 FTE supporting over 650+ resources and a budget of approximately CHF100m per annum.

Your expertise:


You have:


a university degree in finance or economics, with a strong understanding of accounting principles


at least 10 years of professional experience gathered ideally in the financial services industry


strong communicator and have the ability to manage senior client relationships


experience in managing and working with cross cultural teams


proficient with MS Office tools


You are:


a self-starter and have the ability to work with ambiguity and in a matrix organization,


methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail,


a collaborative team player who has the ability to effectively interact with multiple working styles as well as work across all levels and business lines,


must be organized and capable of successfully prioritizing work in a fast moving environment
